Delta Shelter.
So, Will and I are starting to catalog ideas for the eventual remodel of our current house-with-no-closets. The house pictured here is the Delta Shelter, a house designed for my dentist, Dr. Michal Friedrich, by Tom Kundig, my former landlord. It was featured last February in the New York Times magazine. Anyway, I love all the glass which, incidentally, would work well on our lot to showcase the beautiful view we have. But, I love Craftsman architecture, too. Wouldn’t it be neat to design a house that married this sort of post-modernism with the Craftsman tradition?
Anyway, I had to take my laptop in again. The hard drive is toast and it looks like I may have lost the majority of the photos I took in Rome last summer (since I don’t have $400-500 to spend on data retrieval right now). I’m so bummed.
