Design Within (Dog's) Reach.

Okay, I don’t actually want an eCrate that bad. It’s more Mies who wants one. This is a cool design, but can you imagine how much better their ads would look if they used a canine as elegantly designed (e.g., a Weimaraner) instead of that stupid little yappy dog? I’m not a big fan of stupid little yappy dogs….

Hmmm, I also wonder about his claims that it’s “less like a prison”. For him, or the dog? It would be interesting to see usability tests on this. Do dogs really prefer the curvilinear shapes? And what about for travel? Ideally, you’d have a kennel that’s both beautiful and functional. I don’t think this one would past muster for an airplane, although it would look great in a design catalog.
