Designing fitness.

I work out at the downtown YMCA where they just got new exercise equipment. I have long been fascinated with the industrial design of exercise equipment, wondering about the myriad of disciplines that are drawn upon to design an effective, safe, ergonomic exercise machine: biometrics, user interface design, mechanical engineering, industrial design, kinesiology. Amazing. Life Fitness does a great job of it.
