Deux metros.

One thing I’m really looking forward to about moving to DC (besides a change from 200+ cloudy days per year) is its proximity to New York. I’m going to make a point to go up there at least once a month. Maybe even more if I can somehow find work that would allow for massive telecommuting.

And look at this: The New York Foundation for the Arts is an organization providing funding for the arts, including design and film. Lots of famous filmmakers and a designer or two have received fellowships via the NYFA.

I need to make films. I need to write. I need to sing. I can’t wait to live so close to New York. Being so close to the Big Apple is going to ease the pain of all I’ll miss about Seattle.

Okay, off to walk the dogs and look at iPods. I lost mine hiking at Granite Mountain last weekend. Bummer, dude.
