Fixie Chicks.

This is my friend Jessica’s fixed-gear bicycle. I’ve been thinking a lot about getting – maybe even building – one of these bikes lately. I’ve always wanted a really lightweight bike and because these have so few moving parts, they don’t weigh much. I’ve also read lots of great things about them, mainly the increased control you have over your bike and how it’s analogous to driving a stick-shift over an automatic. Not to mention the industrial design. These are beeee-U-tee-ful machines.
