He Swims the Salish Sea.
On the water was a man, bobbing like a thread. White arm flashing rhythmically, legs watercolored shadows, scissors under the Salish Sea. Nautical, unchained.
On the water was a dog. Aussie or… no, Brittany Spaniel maybe. Rusted cheek and white brow followed him on circled laps. Loyalty, unfeigned.
On the water were harps. Boats with their whispered tethers, silver filaments mating sail to mast. Tangle, reweaved. Sing for me please.
On the water was a sky. Pink its floating whisps. White, too. And silver gold amber blue. Mating heaven to me. Magnificence, unfurled.
On the sky was a mountain. Domed jewel above the sea. Fourteen carat cravasse glowing golden. Royal, shadowed. Oh, yes. She sings to me.
