Lee Miller.

Now that I am on the east coast, I get to take day trips and go to cool exhibits like this one at the Philadelphia Museum of Art (Philadelphia’s only about two hours from DC), featuring the work of Man Ray’s lover/model-turned-photographer, Lee Miller. There is a great article in the latest New Yorker about her. Pick up a copy and read it to be fascinated and inspired.
