Mountains to cathedrals.

National Cathedral

I love this passage about Seattle, written by Christopher Solomon of the New York Times. This is so how we live here! Snuggled with our tea or espresso and copius amounts of reading material; I don’t think I’ve ever read a more descriptive paragraph:

When summer comes to Seattle,
blinking residents emerge from bookstores and coffeehouses, shrug off
their rubberized rain jackets, chrysalis-like, and change into cycling
shorts, then rock-climbing shoes, and finally strappy sandals for a
night on the town.

I’m going to miss you, Seattle. But I’m looking forward to trying on a new place. Will signed the papers on our new apartment in DC. This view of the National Cathedral is what we’ll see every time we look out our new living room window.
