Type as sculpture.

I was reading the infamous 25 random things by one of my MICA colleagues the other day. She mentioned that one of the things she loves about teaching is how much more she feels she learns from her students than they do from her. I feel the same way sometimes. For example, one of my students this semester brought in the portfolio site of Oded Ezer as an example of experimental typography. I had never heard of this typographer, despite the fact that he's gotten some pretty good press. Check out his site for examples (I don't want to get charged with copyright infringement, ala Shepard Fairey).

His work is beautiful. LOVE.
