Waah. Poor Americans.
Umm, I hate the high gas prices just as much as the next guy, but geez, if we’re changing our driving habits because of them, I’d say it’s a good thing. We’ve had cheap gas in this country for way too long and it’s about time we’re forced to confront our dependence on foreign oil.
And for those who voted for Bush 
and are complaining about the gas prices? No. No way. Don’t even go there. You got what you voted for….

Gas prices hit record
Some consumers forced to alter habits
Everybody’s feeling this pinch.
The price of regular gasoline this week hit a record high of $2.50 a gallon in the Seattle-Bellevue-Everett metro area, according to a daily survey by AAA.
Other Internet sources reported prices at some gas stations in the heart of Seattle reaching as high as $2.69.
Prices are escalating so much that some area residents are beginning to change their habits, opting to participate in van pools and use park and ride lots more often.
