Zibetto.

I am obsessed with good espresso. Why? Because I don’t have easy access to it anymore. Anyway, when I went to New York a couple of weeks ago, I researched coffee places online in advance and found Zibetto. It’s on the Avenue of the Americas, about three blocks south of Central Park. Walking into this espresso bar was like like stepping across the Atlantic into bella Roma. I was fully expecting to emerge onto Rome’s cobblestone streets when I finished my cappuccino e cornetto, but alas, I was still in New York, rudely confronted by the Starbucks logo right across the street.

Why anyone would bother to visit a Starbucks with a place like Zibetto nearby, I have no fricking idea.
